Michael Rowland to leave ABC News Breakfast

Beloved ABC TV host, Michael Rowland, has announced he will leave ABC News Breakfast after nearly 15 years as co-host.

Rowland told viewers during Monday morning’s broadcast, confirming he will wrap up with the show on Friday 13 December.

“I love working on News Breakfast. Every morning is a buzz and it’s by far the best job I’ve had at the ABC,” Rowland saids.

“But after 15 years of 3am starts my body is screaming ‘enough!’. The hours have finally caught up with me.”
