His session will delve into new models of storytelling, new ways to discover stories, and new ways to drive value for publishing business.

Rudolph also cover Microsoft’s view of the future of journalism, where a reporter’s natural curiosity and tenacity is augmented with the immense processing capacity of modern computing.

A special panel has also been confirmed featuring some of the most senior industry leaders. Nicholas Gray, MD of The Australian and Prestige Titles will join Rebecca Costello, CEO at Schwartz Media and Neil Ackland, CEO of Junkee Media and chief content and creative officer at Ooh Media.

Costello, Ackland and Gray will participate in the Leaders Hotseat panel

The trio will take the stage for the Leaders Hotseat panel, which will see each publishing boss have 10 minutes in the hot seat as they individually provide quick-fire answers to some of the most pressing questions facing their business and the publishing industry in general.

After launching in the Australian market earlier this year, UK-founded publisher LadBible will be involved in Mumbrella Publish.

Joseph Summers, GM at LadBible Group Australia, will unpack how LadBible intends to work with Australian brands to provide local collaborations and branded content.

Summers will explore if there really is an opportunity in this market when other youth publishers such as Buzzfeed and Pedestrian have already seen huge success in the market.

It is being held on September 19 at the Swissôtel Sydney with earlybird tickets on sale now. The Publish Awards gala dinner will be held directly afterwards. Entry into the awards is open now via this link.
