Hemmes’ millions and billions
Dr Mumbo knows that Sydney playboy/hotelier/entrepreneur Justin Hemmes is wealthy but he can’t help but think yesterday’s Daily Telegraph may be somewhat exaggerating his riches:
For the record a net worth of $800,000 million is $800 billion dollars…
A figure which, if it were true, would make Mr Hemmes, the owner of many of Sydney’s most high-profile bars and nightspots, the richest man in the world – by quite some margin.
It’s also a clear sign that the Tele thinks Hemmes is having a very good year, considering that last year it put his wealth at a more moderate $250m.
Oh just stop it, you silly little bumkin, and leave Rupe’s’ little play thing The Daily Telegraph alone you disgraceful bully you.
