MiQ grows Sydney team with two new sales appointments

Marketing intelligence company, MiQ, has appointed Stuart Parker and Rhiannon Brown to newly-created sales roles.

MiQ says the hires are in response to continued growth, with the company doubling in size since launching in the local market in 2017. Parker joins as sales director for independent and boutique agencies, and Brown as group sales manager.

“Since entering the ANZ market just over a year and a half ago, MiQ has experienced incredible growth as we continue to provide strong marketing intelligence-led results for our clients. To keep up with demand and maintain our high-quality service, the next step naturally was to add these two new specialised roles to our sales team,” said John Danby, managing director of MiQ ANZ.

“We’re very excited to welcome both Rhiannon and Stuart onboard. Their impressive backgrounds make them invaluable additions to the team and I look forward to seeing how they contribute in moving the business forward.”

Parker previously held senior sales and management roles with News Corp, carsales.com.au and CarAdvice and has spent 14 years in the industry.

“Ad tech has traditionally been a crowded space, but as the market matures MiQ has become a clear market leader. I’m thrilled to be joining such a highly successful ad tech business that still has so much potential to grow at this exciting time,” Parker said.

Brown has 10 years’ industry experience, having previously worked at InLink, Bauer, carsales.com.au and MCN. Most recently, she was NSW agency director at Fairfax (now Nine).

“I love working in such a fast-paced, dynamic industry and am looking forward to joining MiQ as they continue to lead the way in marketing intelligence data solutions,” Brown said of her appointment.

“It’s always great to be part of a winning team and I genuinely feel this role will offer me the opportunity to thrive within an amazing organisation.”

Both new hires will be reporting to sales director Fi Roberts. The company is currently relocating to a larger office in Sydney and actively recruiting a marketing manager.

MiQ provides marketing intelligence to brands and media agencies including Dentsu-Aegis, GroupM, American Express, Air New Zealand, and Carnival Group.
