The station’s audience share dropped from 14.8 per cent to 14.5 per cent, following a previous fall recorded in the April 9 ratings, and a fall from 15.2 to 14.7 per cent in the Monday to Friday audience share.

Meanwhile other commercial stations are gaining ground, with Nova91.9FM’s weekly share rising from  9.4 per cent to 10.7 per cent in the weekly ratings, and from 9.1 to 10.6 Monday to Friday.

DMG’s Nova91.9FM is also turning up the heat in the breakfast battle as the audience share for Shane Lowe and Dylan Lewis’s show has risen from 8.0 per cent to 10.2 per cent.

However Mix 102.3’s Jodie, Mark and Snowy’s breakfast show has regained its lead, with a small drop from 13.8 per cent to 13 per cent of the listeners, while 5AA’s breakfast show with Jane Reilly and Keith Conlon dropped from 14.2 per cent to 11.3 per cent.

The popularity of non-commercial ABC891’s breakfast show with Matthew Abraham and David Bevan however is undisputed, and its audience share has risen from 14.8 per cent to 17.6 per cent.

ABC891 has also eclipsed 5AA as the second most listened to station in the city Monday to Sunday, with it’s share rising from 11.2 per cent to 12.3 per cent, while 5AA’s dropped from 11.9 per cent to 10.9 per cent and from 12.5 to 11.1 per cent.
