Creativity Online: Music stars joins forces for version of the Beach Boys classic God Only Knows to promote BBC Music

Pharrell Williams, One Direction, Brian Wilson and Elton John are among the 27 music stars who appear in an epic film from the BBC, designed to promote its new BBC Music brand. Each famous face performs a line from the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows,” reprising the style of the BBC’s much-lauded 1997 recording of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,” which united stars like Bono, David Bowie and Billy Joel.

Ad Age: Philadelphia Cream Cheese. From farm to fridge in six days

The bacon frenzy has finally made it to Philadelphia — cream cheese that is, which is rolling out a new variety flavored with the pork product.

It seems like a no-brainer for Kraft Foods Group to fuse its Philadelphia and Oscar Mayer brands into one product. But putting bacon in cream cheese is apparently a bit harder than it sounds.

Mumbrella Asia: STW Group acquires Red Brand builders to boost Vietnam presence of Edge Asia

STW Group-owned digital agency Edge Asia has acquired Red Brand Builders, a 10 year-old Ho Chi Minh City-based branding and design agency co-founded by Marc Gough, the former APAC marketing director of Burger King.

The deal will see Chris Elkin, the MD of Red Brand Builders, lead Edge Asia’s Vietnam business.
