Delta just upped the stakes on how to create the most memorable airline safety video. Its latest video is basically one giant mash-up of internet memes, including “Charlie Bit My Finger,” Keyboard Cat, Dramatic Chipmunk, Overly Attached Girlfriend and Screaming Goat. The company says the film, from Wieden & Kennedy New York and directed by Matt Aselton of Arts & Sciences, is an homage to Youtube on its 10th birthday as well as another creative way to capture travel-weary passengers’ attention. It launches on board next week.

A children’s helpline in Sweden just released an upsetting set of emojis showing kids being physically and verbal abused—in the hope that young victims of violence might use them to communicate their situation when words fail.

“A complex reality demands a complex set of symbols,” says the nonprofit group, BRIS, which helps at-risk children and teenagers. “The Abused Emojis make it possible for kids and young people to talk about situations where they felt bad or wrongly treated without having to put words on the situation. If you or somebody you know have been hurt, mistreated or feel sad, Abused Emojis makes it easier to talk about.”

JK Rowling has been fully vindicated after a tabloid newspaper alleged she had composed a “sob story” about her time as a single mother, a High Court has heard.

A judge was told that the publisher of the Daily Mail has accepted the allegations were “completely false and indefensible”, published an apology and undertaken not to repeat them.

Associated Newspapers Ltd has also agreed to pay the creator of Harry Pottersubstantial damages, which she is donating to charity, and to contribute to her legal costs, said her lawyer.
