Mumbrella announces full program for Automotive Marketing Summit 2022 with Sonar Group, Volkswagen, AMPOL and more
The full program for the 2022 Mumbrella Automotive Marketing Summit has been announced, taking place on September 21 at the Sofitel in Melbourne.
Among the additions to the lineup are Volkswagen Group’s Ben Wilks, discussing the challenges of launching Spanish brand CUPRA into an established and competitive Australian market. At a time where dozens of brands have failed in the battle to win the hearts and garages of the nation’s drivers, Ben will talk through how to succeed when the odds are against you.
Also speaking is chief brand officer at AMPOL, Jenny O’Regan, joined by CEO Anthony Gregorio and chief strategy officer Iona MacGregor from Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney. Discussing AMPOL’s two-year transition process and the relaunch of the heritage brand in Australia, the trio will discuss how to navigate a path through what can be considered a “grudge purchase” among consumers, and explore the importance of developing and maintaining your communications strategy when transitioning from one brand identity to another.
In addition, Scott Heron, managing director at Sonar Group, presents exclusive research to explore the road ahead for the automotive industry.
