Mumbrella Podcast: Meet the boss of new kids channel KidsCo; Makeup lessons for schoolgirls; The sucky Microsoft ad; Goodbye Merrick & Ross (and Kate Ritchie); Did Murdoch mean it?
In this week’s Mumbrella Podcast:
Mumbrella editor Tim Burrowes and deputy editor Camille Alarcon are joined by Scott Rhodie and KidsCo boss Paul Robinson.
On the agenda:
Hey Tim … interesting that Paul Robinson spent more time talking about digital radio than he did about KidsCo. I guess you can take the boy out of radio, but you can’t take the radio out of the boy.
Hey Camille … because teenage girls wear make-up we should make sure they know how to apply it properly so they look real good eh? By extension, does that mean we should assist teenage girls who have sex … hand out free condoms … a few DVDs on technique … maybe some live demonstrations? I think your logic and argument sucks big time.
In fairness, John, that was probably at least partly down to the questions I was asking him. It seems a shame to have the former boss of Radio 1 (a big deal in the UK) in the studio and not talk about radio!
Cheers,
Tim – Mumbrella
