Mumbrella Question Time – James Greet, Andy Ridley, Simone Drewry and Stuart Gregor
Mumbrella Question Time returns later this month with Mindshare’s new CEO making his first public appearance, Earth Hour’s boss offering his perspective plus insights from the indepedent and croporate side of the public relations industry.
After a break from Mumbrella masterclasses in Sydney and Melbourne, this marks the first Question Time since March.
The panel consists of:
James Greet is the newly arrived CEO of media agency Mindshare. Greet is widely credited with masterminding the turnaround of OMD. After a stint running the media side of Sydney-based recruitment agency The Ladder he now has the tough task of bossting WPP agency Mindshare’s standing in the highly competitive media agency market.
Stuart Gregor is the owner and founder of specialist PR agency Liquid Ideas which focuses on food and wine clients. Prior to a career in public relations he was a journalist for News Corporation. He has a Masters in Marketing from the Melbourne University Business School, is a Member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, a member of the Australian Society of Travel Writers and has a Diploma in Wine Marketing from the University of Adelaide.
Simone Drewry is the managing director of DDB Group’s public relations arm Mango. She was this year’s Australian representative on the public relations jury of the Cannes Lions. She is on the board of DDB Australia. She is also non-exec director on the boards of LA-based NGO One Love for Music and social information film production company Positive Pictures Group. She has worked in PR in the UK, US and Australia.
Andy Ridley is executive director and co-founder of the Titanium Lion-winning Earth Hour. Prior to developing Earth Hour with Leo Burnett and Fairfax, Ridley was communications director for WWF Australia. His previous roles have included The Prince’s Trust in London, and Action Against Hunger. He is also an ambassador for Tourism Australia’s Friends of Australia initiative and patron of the Norwich Carbon Reduction Trust in the UK.
The event is moderated by Mumbrella editor Tim Burrowes.
It takes place on Wednesday August 25, running from 7.30am until 9.30am at the Star Room, at L’Aqua, at Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

Having worked with this Andy, I can say that while he doesn’t have the dance moves of Wham! – those details were left to others in the Earth Hour office – he’s a fantastic boss and a very smart guy.
