Mumbrella SAGE to hold tailored interactive workshops from DVM Law, Kathryn’s Mint and Scarlett Strategic Solutions

Mumbrella SAGE, the conference for independent agencies, will hold limited-space interactive workshops for the first time.

Featuring sessions from the leaders of DVM Law, Kathryn’s Mint and Scarlett Strategic Solutions, the workshops will run twice during the day with attendance capped at 20 delegates per session.

The workshops will provide delegates with a true interactive experience where challenges and opportunities specific to them can be discussed with workshop leaders and other delegates in the room.

DVM Law’s Stephen von Muenster and Stephen Digby will lead a workshop around the legal landmines when it comes to campaigns, using a fictional campaign to highlight the risks.

The pair will reveal tips to avoid these landmines and highlight best practice for legal compliance, reducing risks and generating value. All attendees will also be given a legal compliance checklist to keep after the session.

Williams has helped numerous agencies of all sizes shape their KPI strategies

Kathryn Williams, founder of Kathryn’s Mint, will focus on creating KPIs for an agency leadership team.

In this workshop, Williams will use the attributes of the best KPI models she has seen in her years of experience working with agencies of all sizes. These are the learnings that have led to the creation of the KMint KPI Program, which has been effectively implemented by many creative agencies over the years.

Williams will detail how to define core objectives, use simple KPI dashboards, and implement a robust reporting routine.

Francis will go deep on emotional intelligence and how it is affecting you and your workplace

Janey Francis, director of Scarlett Strategic Solutions, will focus on understanding yourself and your impact on others in a workshop that will focus heavily on emotional intelligence, presented in a highly interactive way.

The workshop will illustrate how insights into you and your colleagues’ thinking and communication styles can result in significant increases in productivity and positivity.

Watts, co-founder of one of Australia’s biggest independent agencies, will tell the story of how it was done

Outside of the workshops, the final session of SAGE has been confirmed with Jack Watts, co-founder of one of Australia’s biggest independent agencies, Bastion Collective, set to reveal how the agency has seen such significant growth.

Watts will cover everything from making cold calls, having no idea what they were doing and saying ‘yes’ to everything then figuring it out along the way, to starting to build momentum, making acquisitions and dealing with scale.

Also confirmed are industry leaders James Greet and James Sykes, co-founders of Clean Thinking, who will moderate a number of sessions each. Greet is the former CEO of Mindshare and OMD, while Sykes is the former global head of innovation and design at Beam Suntory.

Tickets are on sale now with the conference set to take place at the Amora Hotel Jamison in Sydney on February 21.
