Mumbrella360 returns in-person across three venues – Jens Monsees, Susan Coghill, Lisa Ronson and more confirmed

Mumbrella360 will return as a physical event this July, in Sydney across three venues in the CBD, and will be called Mumbrella360: Reimagined.

Mumbrella360 returns as an in-person event in 2021

For the first time, the Hilton Hotel will be joined by The Four Seasons and The Sheraton Grand in Sydney’s CBD to play host to individual streams of Mumbrella360: Reimagined – Australia’s largest media and marketing conference.

A number of Australia’s most prominent industry leaders have already been confirmed to speak at the event.

Monsees, Bekker, Coghill and Hutton will each present on panels

In a one panel, WPP AUNZ CEO and managing director Jens Monesees will be joined by Tourism Australia’s CMO Susan Coghill, KPMG partner Carmen Bekker and Edelman Australia CEO Michelle Hutton, to break down the year that was, how it has affected them and the businesses they work in, and what opportunities they are looking to capitalise on moving forward.

Ronson has also been confirmed to speak at Mumbrella360 with DDB’s Stromnes

Also confirmed is Coles CMO Lisa Ronson with DDB managing director of strategy and innovation, Leif Stromnes, who will present a session on the repositioning of Coles in the midst of a global pandemic.

Connecting Plots strategy director Tim Collier will join head of social and content Lewis Steele for one of the first Masterclasses announced. They will explain how following a legacy social media strategy could be costing businesses resources and opportunity.

And co-founder and managing director of Storyation Lauren Quaintance will reveal new research on the cultural ROI of content for brands.

These speakers will also be joined by the likes of CHE Proximity chief technology officer, Mark Gretton and non-executive director and former general manager of marketing for Westfield, John Batistich.

Koala’s Sloterdyk will be in Australia for the conference

In a special session, Koala global CMO and CTO, Peter Sloterdyk, currently based in the US but who will be arriving in Australia in the first half of the year, will present a session on the methodology used to grow the brand into something iconic and full of meaning.

The Mumbrella360 streams will be like events in their own right, with each taking place at a different location. The Ideas & Innovation stream will take place at the Four Seasons, the Creative Convention will be based at the Sheraton Grand Hyde Park and the media stream will be hosted at the Hilton Hotel.

There will also be a Masterclass stream that takes place at the Hilton Hotel and is live streamed to the two other venues.

More speakers and sessions will be announced in the near future as well as other aspects of the conference.

Tickets to the different streams are available for purchase now, with access to the Masterclass sessions included in all tickets. Mumbrella360 takes place on 13-15 July.
