Naked Communications has announced a new three-man leadership team with Tim Kirby as its new managing director,  Brett Rolfe as chief strategy officer and hiring Saatchi & Saatchi creative director Jon Burden as executive creative director.

The management reshuffle comes after the departure last week of CEO Carl Ratcliff to head up One Green Bean and the axing of Melbourne managing director Tom Ward, who has since joined Cummins & Partners.

Matthew Melhuish, the CEO of holding group Enero, will continue in the role of group CEO for Naked globally. He said in a statement: “Tim, Brett and Jon combine all the elements we need to form an outstanding leadership team to take Naked forward.

“The business is well set with a great roster of clients in Sydney; I’m excited about where the team will take it from here.”

Burden has picked up a number of accolades at Saatchis for the Penny the Pirate campaign for OPSM, and started his career at Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam working on Nike’s Jogo Bonito campaign for the World Cup.

He came to Australia in 2006 as a cretive director at the Campaign Palace, before spending two years as creative partner at Banjo, jumping to Saatchis in 2010.

“I’m looking forward to joining Tim and Brett at the helm of Naked – a team with exceptional talent and the rock solid support of Matthew Melhuish, it’s an exciting sum of the parts. We’re aligned in our passion to create great work,” said Burden in the statement.
