Naming rights partner announced for Supercars return to racing

Bunnings Trade has been announced as the naming rights partner for Repco Supercars Championship return to racing.

The announcement:

Bunnings Trade will be supporting the return of the Repco Supercars Championship by taking official naming rights to the first event on the revised calendar, next month’s Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight.

In February, Bunnings Trade announced an expanded partnership with Supercars for 2021 and 2022 which included the popular Bunnings Trade PowerPass Power Play, seen on Supercars award-winning broadcast and digital platforms.

It also included naming rights to the Supercars widely popular Tipping competition that offers a variety of prizes for fans, headlined by a $1,000 Bunnings Gift Card and 2022 Supercars event ticketing and experience package for the overall winner.

“Our team and PowerPass customers are passionate racing fans, and we know the wait will have been worth it with a show-stopping first event back at the Sydney Motorsport Park”.

Supercars CEO Sean Seamer said: “I’d like to thank Bunnings Trade for coming on board as the naming rights partner of our spectacular return, under lights at Sydney Motorsport Park from 29-31 October.

“This event is significant for our category and our sponsors. Fans around the world will be tuning in to see our return to racing.

“Bunnings Trade has been an extremely flexible partner of Supercars throughout 2021 and we are thrilled that as an industry leader, they are continuing to support our sport as the naming rights partner of this event.”

The Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperSprint will be run at Sydney Motorsport Park over three-days with practice under lights on Friday 29 October.

There will be a Top Ten Shootout and opening race under lights on Saturday, followed by two races on Sunday.

Ticketing, support categories and broadcast information for the event will be announced in coming days.
