Narelle Craig joins Liquid Ideas as its first CEO as Stuart Gregor turns focus to his gin brand

Narelle Craig is set to join public relations agency Liquid Ideas in September as CEO, Mumbrella can reveal.

Most recently Craig was living in Indonesia as the CEO of BrandAM, after her two-year stint as the managing director at POP Communications and as the general manager and editor at Honeycombers.

Craig was also the founder and managing director of Bang PR for 10 years, which was acquired by M&C Saatchi in 2012.

In 2015, Craig left and the agency appointed Annalise Brown as managing director.

Craig is joining Liquid Ideas following the decision of founder and director Stuart Gregor to concentrate on his gin brand Four Pillars Gin. In February next year Gregor will shift roles and become creative chairman at Liquid Ideas.

Gregor said: “After 18 years at the helm I knew it was about time to get a fresh set of eyes, a new attitude and dynamism into the business.

“We searched a long time for the ideal candidate and I’m pretty confident we have found it with Narelle – I knew of her work and reputation while she was at Bang and it was always an agency I admired.”

Craig said: “Anyone who has worked with me knows how passionate I am about great people, great clients and delivering exceptional results.

“Liquid Ideas is already a great agency with terrific reputation in lifestyle, hospitality, consumer retail, food and wine.

“Brining an increased focus on broader consumer strategies and new technologies for clients means we’ll have great fun together in making a great business even better,” Craig said.

Liquid Ideas’ client roster includes Dan Murphy’s, Singapore Airlines, Unilever, Kellogg’s, Peter’s Ice Cream and Kenwood.
