NCIS gains share for Ten but rating continue to fall for Recipe to Riches

Channel Ten’s launch of the season premiere of US import NCIS averaged 755,000 viewers last night ranking second in its time slot after Seven’s Dancing with the Stars, preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam show.

Dancing with the Stars averaged 1.137m,  a slight rise from last weekand was second in all programs.

However Ten’s Recipe to Riches has continued to fall, averaging 469,000 viewers, a slight drop from last week and its lowest audience so far in the series. The Woolworths-backed food marketing show featuring Droga5’s David Nobay was 20th for the night and 13th in people 25-54.

Nine News was the top program of the night with an average audience of 1.15m and Nine had the top three programs in people 25-54 with Big Brother, Nine News and Rebel Wilson’s US sitcom Super Fun Night.

Big Brother averaged 865,000 and was second in its time slot after Dancing with the Stars. And although Rebel Wilson’s sitcom Super Fun Night declined of its debut of 791,000 last week, it held onto 682,000 viewers last night.

However Ten’s share was helped by another episode of NCIS: Los Angeles at 9.30pm, which averaged 566,000 and was 16th for the night, preliminary overnight metro ratings show.

Channel Ten had a 14.4 per cent share of the audience, up from 12.2 per cent last Tuesday.

Seven won the night with over 23 per cent of the audience, while Nine had an 18 per cent audience share.
