Network 10 brings UFC to free-to-air in 2026

Network 10 will be bringing a selection of UFC fights to free-to-air television in 2026, with all live UFC Fight Nights and various other preliminary events coming to Paramount+ as part of a seven-year international rights deal.

From January 2026, Paramount+ will stream 30 UFC Fight Nights live, as well as the prelims from the 13 marquee numbered events. A number of “selected events” will also be simulcast on Network 10.

This comes after parent company Paramount Skydance struck an A$11.7 billion, seven-year broadcast deal with Paramount in August to stream all of its fights on Paramount+ in the US, exclusively. Much like the Australian deal, Paramount will also air select fights on its free-to-air network CBS. This deal has also been expanded to cover Latin America.

“The partnership with Paramount has already been incredible and it just keeps getting bigger and better,” UFC president and CEO Dana White said in an announcement.

“They are now taking on new territories like Australia and this thing is just going to continue to grow. It just shows you how aggressive they are with this business, and I love it. I can’t wait to continue working together and building the next generation of talent all over the world.”

Network 10 president and head of streaming for Paramount Australia Beverley McGarvey said in a media release she was “delighted to add UFC to our sport offering in Australia”.

McGarvey said the ability of the newly merged Paramount Skydance “to negotiate agreements of this scale … is a sign of great things to come for our viewers.”

Since the merger, Paramount Skydance has paid A$2.3b for the exclusive streaming rights to South Park for five years, and signed up Strangers Things creators The Duffer Brothers to a four-year exclusive production deal.
