Neue Media unveils retail consumer arm after client wins

Following on from a series of new client scores, comms agency Neue Media has opened its retail consumer arm.

National integrated communications agency, Neue Media, has launched its retail consumer arm following a raft of new client wins, including retailer e&s, luxury builder, Mazzei and Moonee Valley Racing Club.

The announcement comes as the agency looks to expand into sectors that complement its existing property and design clientele.

Through Neue Media’s established speciality in property development, hotels and destinational venues, the agency regularly collaborates with furniture and design retailers, home renovation brands and experience providers – offering an organic growth strategy.

“The pre-existing relationships that Neue Media has in the retail design and home categories have already presented our clients with innovative partnership and collaboration opportunities,” said Cara Cunningham, director at Neue Media.

“The natural next step for our business is to represent these complementary brands, bringing them into Neue Media’s stable of clients.

“Both our existing and prospective property clients are excited by the opportunity to connect them with consumer and lifestyle brands for strong cross-promotional activity across content creation, PR and events.

“We’ve already seen great success in partnering traditional development brands with renowned consumer retailers like Coco Republic and e&s to extend reach and cut-through amongst new audiences outside the regular property platforms.”

“Similarly, premium retail brands see an enormous opportunity to tap the real estate market to drive strong commercial sales of furniture packages, and appliances in new luxury property developments.

Neue Media’s social media, digital, PR, media and events specialists will now use their combined expertise to deliver multi-channel communications strategies and campaigns for clients in the home and lifestyle industries.

Following a competitive tender process, Neue Media has been engaged by retailer e&s to bolster its social media and digital presence. The agency manages e&s’ social media, content creation and partnerships for Victoria’s leading kitchen, bathroom, and laundry appliance retailer.

Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) has also appointed Neue Media to manage the external communications relating the $2.5billion redevelopment of Moonee Valley Race Course. The appointment comes as the Club undergoes a major redevelopment, repositioning itself as Australia’s first carbon-neutral sport, hospitality and entertainment precinct.

The agency is appointed to manage the Club’s PR, media relations, corporate and stakeholder communications, social media, content creation, influencer engagement and partnerships.

The expansion has been on the cards for the agency since it was founded in 2017, with Neue Media directors Cara Cunningham and Vanessa Lai explaining that many of the larger lifestyle brands are still working under a traditional multi-agency consultancy mix.

“Our combined paid/owned/earned/shared model is still the only of its kind in the property marketing industry, and there are still many consumer brands who have not found an agency that can offer this seamless integration of services under one communications strategy. This presents an enormous opportunity for Neue Media to provide a proven holistic solution to a new sector of possible clients.”

Other recent client additions include Resimax Group, Latitude 37, Mazzei and Sentinel, bolstering the agency’s extensive client base.

The announcement of the new consumer arm follows the agency’s national expansion, with the opening of its Sydney office in March 2023.
