New Aussie-made soft drink hits the market with a Mexican wrestler and a Chihuahua

A new Aussie-made soft drink has entered the market.

Called Nexba, the drink is positioned as an all natural real ice tea. The new brand was started by Drew Bilbe and Troy Douglas, who took the drink from idea to stores within a year.

The duo hired Sydney agency SoDUS to create a promotional video for the product.

“From the first moment we met Drew and Troy, we were blown away by their energy, understanding of the market at such a young age and the amazing story of how Nexba leaped from idea to resolved brand instore, in a matter of months,” said Phil Barker, creative partner at SoDUS.

“To capture their story, and energy, in a short video was a creative challenge. We employed a technique of humour, extremely quick edits and colourful, on-brand motion typography to bring the Nexba brand to life. It’s not often we can recommend the use of Mexican wrestler and a Chihuahua to a client,” he says.
