Andy Allen, one of the three new Masterchef Australia hosts, will present cooking program Farm to Fork which premieres soon on Ten.
The announcement:
Introducing Farm to Fork – An Innovative New Cooking Brand, Presented By Andy Allen, Michael Weldon and Courtney Roulston
New content creation and distribution group Dual Entertainment is proud to announce the launch of an exciting new cooking show, Farm to Fork, coming soon to Network 10.
Filmed around Australia and hosted by MasterChef Australia 2012 winner, author and acclaimed chef Andy Allen, along with Michael Weldon and Courtney Roulston, Farm to Fork will debut on Network 10 next month.
Andy is one of the three new judges of MasterChef Australia, the 12th season of which will launch on Network 10 in 2020.
In addition to the television show, Farm to Fork will extend into digital and social media, as well as licensing.
Farm to Fork will help all Australians eat and live well, inspiring families to not only cook at home but to also understand more about the produce they are using. The new brand’s key partners include Coles Supermarkets, Jalna Dairy Foods and Red Island Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Coles Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Ronson said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Network 10 and Dual Entertainment to produce Farm to Fork, which will showcase incredible farmers across Australia who grow and harvest some of the most delicious produce enjoyed by Coles customers every day.
“Our strategy at Coles is to inspire customers through the best value food and drink solutions. Farm to Fork helps our customers learn how fresh produce gets from some of the most sustainable farms in Australia to the dining table, inspiring them to live healthier and happier lives.
“We’re delighted that our Own Brand development chef Michael Weldon will be co-hosting the production alongside Courtney Roulston and Andy Allen, cooking healthy and nutritious meals using the finest ingredients from Coles.”
Farm to Fork is the first project to be delivered by Dual Entertainment, a premium content creation company set up earlier this year by experienced media professionals Darren Anderson and Rikki-Lee Lacco.
Mr Anderson said: “We are delighted to be working with Network 10, Coles, Jalna, Red Island and our other partners on this great new show.
“Farm to Fork is the perfect example of our strategy to create and distribute innovative, high-quality content across multiple platforms. Our aim is to make great content that delivers creative and effective marketing solutions for our clients.
“We’re looking forward to launching Farm to Fork. It’s the perfect addition to 10’s weekday afternoon line-up. It’s premium, informative and entertaining content – and content that takes viewers beyond the television screen to a range of other related media,” he said.
Since winning MasterChef Australia, Andy Allen has followed his passion for food and learning as a chef at the acclaimed Three Blue Ducks and travelled the world, sharing his experiences on his YouTube channel.
Joining Andy on Farm to Fork are co-hosts Michael Weldon, runner-up in the 2011 season of MasterChef Australia, and Courtney Roulston, one of the most outstanding contestants from MasterChef Australia 2010.
Michael is currently Coles’ Own Brand development chef. Courtney has been the head chef of the Sydney Swans for past 10 years and has also worked closely with Coles over the same period. Both have also worked on numerous television projects.
Ms Lacco added: “We are very proud of Farm to Fork. The show will be filled with recipes and tips that are sure to inspire home cooks to recreate delicious food at home. Shot in studio and on location, it will highlight destinations from around Australia, taking the viewer on a journey to beautiful locations to learn about the incredible produce this country has to offer.
“We’re also thrilled to be working with Andy, Michael and Courtney. They live, dream and breathe food and are on a constant journey to find the best produce and new and exciting recipes.”
