New publication Kanebridge News partners with The Wall Street Journal for content
Kanebridge Publishing Group is launching a new Australian property website and publication, Kanebridge News, in partnership with The Wall Street Journal, Mansion Global, Barron’s and PENTA.
The key focus areas of Kanebridge News will be property, finance, investment and lifestyle. The publication’s news agenda will be built on analysing national property market figures, interviews with industry figures and opinion pieces. The publication will compete directly against Domain, which is majority owned by Nine Entertainment Co, and REA Group’s Realestate.com, which is majority-owned by News Corp Australia.

Kanebridge News is the latest property and investment title in Australia
National Australia Bank (NAB) and Swiss watch brand Hublot have signed on as launch partners.
Kanebridge Publishing Group also publishes luxury lifestyle title, Robb Report. The launch of Kanebridge News will see Richard Clune made group publisher, while maintaining his role as editor-in-chief of the Robb Report.
“Australians are uniquely engaged when it comes to property and the various markets and we can’t wait to help further inform and inspire with a suite of content that sets a new agenda in this area,” Clune said.
“Kanebridge News is not another listings site, nor is it framed by the kind of advertorial dross currently on offer elsewhere. And the fact we launch with globally recognised, flagship Dow Jones & Company titles speaks of the acute confidence they foresee in Kanebridge News, what we’re about and where we’re headed.”
The partnerships with The Wall Street Journal (a News Corp publication), Mansion Global, Barron’s and PENTA, involve content agreements that will see curated daily articles made available for free, and not placed behind the publications’ regular paywalls.
Clune continued that his aim for Kanebridge News is to become “a daily touchpoint for a wide national audience”, from buyers and sellers, members of the industry and “those who simply want to receive WSJ articles for free.”
“To come through 2020 the way we did with Robb Report – to find success when so many others unfortunately faltered – and to then start 2021 by launching Kanebridge News is incredibly exciting,” Clune concluded.
