New spots for Australian Payments Plus’ PayID via Five by FIve Global

Australian Payments Plus has partnered with agency Five by Five Global to create a new series of animated spots for PayID.

The announcement:

Australian Payments Plus has released a new series of animated spots to drive awareness and take up of PayID via independent integrated agency Five by Five Global.

‘The Day You PayID’d Me’ brings to life the reassurance and delight that using a PayID gives consumers and small businesses when transferring money; knowing they can see where their money is going before the money leaves their account.

“PayID is growing fast with close to 14 million registered PayIDs in Australia. This is the perfect time to drive awareness and boost brand equity with longevity in mind. Five by Five Global had a unique and fresh perspective on the brief, working with us closely to develop the animated concept and drive it in the market with our key target audiences.” said Charissa Brooks, head of brand & marketing at Australian Payments Plus.

Having launched on social channels and Youtube, the campaign now progresses to out-of-home, radio, cinema and catch up TV, positioning PayID as a product you’ll love falling in love with.

Featuring a cast of characters created by the agency set to a custom track, the campaign works to drive the phrase ‘PayID Me’ into the Australian vernacular while carving out a unique visual identity in the payments sector.

“Money transfers should be fast and secure. That’s PayID in a nutshell. We likened the consumer journey to those moments when you fall in love with a new technology that just makes life a little easier, and what better way to do that than a whirlwind adult cartoon-inspired adventure?” said Craig Bailey, executive creative director at Five by Five Global.
