New Ten boss Hamish McLennan to appear at Mumbrella360
Hamish McLennan, the man with one of the toughest jobs in media, will make his first public appearance since taking the helm of the Ten Network at Mumbrella360.
McLennan became CEO of the free to air network in March following the departure of James Warburton.
A veteran adman, he ran Y&R Brands in Australia including leading the acquisition of George Patterson Bates, before moving to the US where he was global chairman and CEO of the WPP ad agency.
He officially took the helm of Ten on March 18.
Mumbrella360 takes place on June 5 and 6 at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney. During the conference McLennan will be quizzed on his plans for the network by Mumbrella editor Tim Burrowes.
The keynotes sessions at the conference feature Coles chief marketing officer Simon McDowell and Twitter’s global brand advocate Melissa Barnes. Further details of session announcements so far are available on the Mumbrella360 website.
An earlybird discount of $600 on the full conference price expires at the end of today.
It’ll be great to hear his plans… been so much talk about this without much comment from him!

I look forward to hearing what he has to say.

Male. Handsome. Square jawed. Broad shouldered. Clearly resolute and no doubt of above average height. How could his gig at the M360 be anything less than inspirational?
