New video ad service AdoTube to launch in Australia
Exponential Interactive, the parent company of online ad provider Tribal Fusion, is set to launch a new video ad service, AdoTube to Australia.
The service, which was acquired by the company this week, will provide clients with advertising options such as pre-roll, interactive overlays and in-stream skinning.
The service aims to leverage in-stream video which allows viewers to engage and interact with the video ad.
Exponential will recruit a sales team to head up the new service in Australia.
“With video advertising growing 53% year-on-year to reach $40 million annually and further growth expected in this sector, this deal provides advertisers with more opportunities to engage their target audiences through online video advertising,” said John McKoy, MD of Tribal Fusion.
According to statistics from the company, video advertising expenditure represents just 6.5% of online display advertising in Australia, compared to 14% in the US.
