News Corp targets advertisers in new trade campaign ahead of financial results
News Corp Australia has launched a new trade marketing campaign, urging marketers and advertisers to invest in the face of an economic downturn.
“By simply maintaining or increasing advertising spend, you can increase your brand’s share of voice, and share of market,” the ad which ran in today’s The Australian reads.
News Corp is set to post its financial results this Friday morning on the New York Stock Exchange.
This also comes after this morning, Nine-owned The Sydney Morning Herald reported News Corp is set to make $20 million in cost cuts across its main newspaper titles, The Australian, The Daily Telegraph, and The Herald Sun over the next two years.
News Corp Australia has not provided further details on the campaign, at the time of publishing.
