Nikki Rooke joins Seven as head of Sydney sales

Seven has confirmed the appointment of Nikki Rooke as head of sales for Sydney.

She joins the company from the newly merged Southern Cross Austereo, where she was head of agency sales.

Rooke replaces Adam Elliott, who was promoted to network director of sales following Kurt Burnette’s promotion to chief sales and digital officer – who replaced Ten’s CEO-in-waiting James Warburton.

“We’re delighted to sign Nikki. Her strong leadership skills, exceptional client service and fresh thinking will be a great asset to the team here at Seven,” said Elliott.

Rooke added: “Free-to-air television is in such an exciting space right now and the opportunities for clients and brands at all levels have never been stronger. I can’t wait to get involved with the ground breaking SMG Red team and look forward to adding to my experience in the client integration area from my years at Austereo.”
