Nine drops Camelot
Nine has pulled Camelot from its Sunday night schedule after just one week, reports TV Central.
Despite inheriting an average audience of nearly 1.8m for Underbelly Razor, the sexed-up Arthurian drama rated 640,000 for its first episode and just 294,000 for the second.
I don’t understand why the networks think these shows are going to work. Merlin on 10 is rubbish, this one was bound to be too. It can’t be that hard… I assume they do watch these shows before putting them to air.

How can you blame the networks? People generally LIKE rubbish, how are they to know which rubbish they will and won’t watch??

why does Nine think it can mess with its audience. they need to grow up and commit, like the other channels do. I actively avoid it because of their arrogance and irregular programming

I am not surprised it didn’t do well in the ratings, especially the second episode. A double bill, 2 episodes back to back and it didn’t finish until nearly midnight on a Sunday night!

I saw an advertisement for this show around a month ago. Even then, I knew that this show was going to be bad in relation to ratings. It’s exactly like Merlin on Channel Ten, except with sex wheels.

it was the best show and should continue to play

This series got axed by Starz before it was even picked up by Nine. The writing was on the wall that the series was garbage.
The only question is, what did Nine think they were getting and what did they expect it to do?
