The Tele’s big exclusive
If there is one big story today it was the meltdown of the Census website.
However, Dr Mumbo can’t help but wonder if the Daily Telegraph’s claims of exclusivity to the story take hubris to a new level…
As Crikey’s media writer Myriam Robin noted, the Tele was certainly claiming a big “EXCLUSIVE”, but given the story was based on social media reaction and was carried in basically every other media outlet in the country this one might be up for Dr Mumbo’s award for biggest “EXCLUSIVE” exaggeration of 2016.
