Nova 919 and 5aa appoint joint integration and marketing manager

DMG Radio Group has appointed Melissa Walsh as integration and marketing manager to work jointly across two of its Adelaide stations, Nova 919 and 5aa.   

The announcement:

For the first time, FIVEaa and Nova 919 have appointed an Integration and Marketing Director to work across both radio stations, responsible for enhancing the stations’ profiles and driving winning on-air promotions.

Melissa Walsh is currently the National Integration Project Manager for Nova’s National Drive Show – Ryan, Monty & Wippa – working with a range of high-profile clients.

Prior to that, she was an Agency Client Executive with Nova in Adelaide and Melbourne and has a strong marketing background, having worked as a Brand Marketer for CocaCola in Great Britain and Ireland.

Announcing the appointment, FIVEaa and Nova 919 General Manager Sean O’Brien said: “This new role will allow FIVEaa and Nova 919 to become even more responsive to clients’ needs, developing promotions that can be seamlessly integrated across both stations opening up new and exciting opportunities.”

“Mel is passionate about obtaining great promotional outcomes and has an excellent understanding of the FIVEaa and Nova 919 brands and we’re thrilled to welcome her on board,” he said.

Mel will take up the new role on 6 December.
