Nova announces restructure of Perth leadership team
Nova Entertainment Perth is transitioning its leadership team to a new local structure, following the passing of commercial director and market lead Jamie Martinovich in September.
Several promotions have been announced as part of the change, with Siobhan Siegert, Nina Santella and Antonell Doyle all moving into new roles.
Siegert, currently head of Nova’s branded entertainment division CREATE (Perth and Adelaide), will take on the additional role of leading the Perth office and its local team of 50+ people.
Santella and Doyle will become head of agency sales and head of direct sales respectively, leading the Perth commercial team with Siegert.
Peter Charlton, Nova’s chief commercial officer paid tribute to Martinovich as part of the announcement.
“Jamie was a much-loved and valued friend and colleague, deeply committed to the betterment of the business and its culture,” said Charlton.
“His time with us saw Nova 93.7 earn its position as Perth’s #1 station, among numerous other milestones. It’s our commitment to continue to reflect his values and ethos into the future.”
“We have complete faith in Siobhan’s ability to lead the Perth team into 2020 and beyond. With the ongoing support and expertise of Antonell and Nina, we consider Jamie’s legacy in very safe hands.”
Siegert, Santella and Doyle have all spent extensive time in the Nova business and been instrumental to the success of the radio company in Perth. The new leadership structure will be effective from 11 November 2019.
Nova 93.7 recently announced Dave McClung as its program director after the departure of Dan Underhill in July. Underhill moved to competitor station 96 FM.
