Nunn Media Sydney appoints Adam Cooney as head of strategy

Nunn Media Sydney has appointed Adam Cooney as head of strategy.

The announcement:

Nunn Media has appointed Adam Cooney as Head of Strategy for its Sydney office.

The independent media agency, which opened its doors in May last year, has seen its business grow strongly since launch.

“Our business has grown very quickly and so it has been a priority to find a top notch strategy lead to help us deliver to our clients. Adam fits the bill brilliantly and I am thrilled he is coming on board”, said Chris Walton, Managing Director of Nunn Media Sydney.

Cooney joins Nunn from ZenithOptimedia where he was Data Planning Director with responsibilities across strategy, research, tools, data analysis and direct response planning on clients including Appliances Online, Rabobank, Compare The Market and Tourism NT.

He has almost 20 years of experience in strategy, digital and data.

“Whilst I know Adam well from our days at Mindshare together, I knew he was the right guy for me when I canvassed the opinions of people in the business whose views I trust and respect and his name kept on coming up again and again. Plus he has a fantastic pair of specs.’ said Walton.

Cooney added ‘It’s always flattering when you get a call from a previous boss wanting you to come and work with them, but moving to Nunn is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small but quickly growing agency with team that is focussed on collaboration, transparency and real world solutions.’

Cooney commences with Nunn on March 9th.

Nunn Media is Australia’s largest independent media agency with $175m in annualised client billings. Clients in Sydney include Real Insurance, Greater Building Society, Vitaco, Ermenegildo Zegna, Curves and Easiyo.
