Octopus Media digitises Melbourne outdoor sites

Octopus Media (formerly Tattersalls signs) has replaced three analogue billboard sites in Melbourne with LED large format platforms. The sites are estimated to reach 100,000 people every day.

The announcement:

Following in the worldwide growth of Outdoor Digital signage, Octopus Media, Australia’s leading Digital Large Format company, is expanding by securing 3 further landmark signs in
Melbourne.

Formerly known as the Tattersalls signs, Octopus Media has replaced the outdated and obsolete signs on the corner of Dandenong and Tooronga Road, Malvern and replaced them
with two state of the art LED screens, which use the very latest in technology. The screens are now operational and will be operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are able to
offer community announcements, news updates, events, as well as commercial advertising; the screens will be seen by more than 100,000 viewers everyday.

A further screen will be installed at the busy corner of Bridge Rd and Church St in Richmond.

This new Digital screen will be replacing a traditional type billboard, which will bring excitement and vibrancy to the heart of the Richmond shopping precinct. This screen will launch later in 2011 and be a welcome addition to the Octopus Media portfolio.
