Office worker launches Doritos crackers via slingshot in latest ad
Doritos has created a campaign to launch its new Doritos Crackers.
The 30 second television ad created by Clemenger BBDO Sydney features an office employee walking around the office as he holds the box of Doritos Crackers in a sling shot.
When one of his co-workers asks him what he is doing, he responds “launching Doritos Crackers”.
Ben Coulson, Clemenger BBDO Sydney’s chief creative officer, said in a statement: “This was a chance to tell the world that famous brand Doritos are bringing something new to the table.
We were keen to keep the Doritos tone while (quite literally) launching this new product.”
Alison Silver, Doritos brand manager, added: “We are really excited to be bringing to the market a product & communication campaign that has been developed locally to meet Australian tastes.”
The chips brand has only launched one other Australian ad this year when it created a Valentine’s Day jumper to promote its ‘Doritos Collide’ packets.
