OMD names Andrew Brannaghan as head of Melbourne trading

Screen Shot 2014-10-07 at 8.35.24 AMOMD has named Andrew Brannaghan as head of trading at its Melbourne office to replace Margie Reid following her promotion to managing director.

Brannaghan has held the position of trading director since May 2012 after beginning his career with OMD in 2005.

He said: “I clearly have very big Jimmy Choo’s to fill taking over from Margie. It’s such an exciting time to be part of the OMD family, and working alongside such talented people.

“We’ve built a market leading team in Melbourne, and I look forward to accelerating that momentum into 2015 and beyond.”

Reid took over as MD last month following the departure of Steve Sinha to take up a role as national media director of 303Lowe.

“I am delighted to hand over the trading reins to Drue; he is an outstanding operator and truly respected amongst clients, staff, media partners and peers.” she said of Brannaghan’s appointment.
