OMD Melbourne’s Steve Sinha moves to 303Lowe, Margie Reid to step into role

Managing director of OMD Melbourne Steve Sinha is departing the media agency to take up a role as national media director of 303Lowe.

Sinha, who has been in the role for more than seven years, will be replaced by general manager and head of trading in Melbourne Margie Reid.

“Steve is an 11 year veteran of OMD Australia”, said Peter Horgan CEO of OMD in a statement. “In the last seven years he has doubled the size of OMD Melbourne, and built an innovative team of best in market specialists. He leaves with our sincere thanks and best wishes on his return to Sydney and new appointment.”

He replaces outgoing media director Clive Bingwa, with 303Lowe CEO Nick Cleaver welcoming the appointment by saying: “We are delighted to welcome Steve to 303Lowe. He is a highly respected media leader who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. We are looking forward to welcoming him on board.”

303 has offices in Perth and Sydney and represents brands including Challenger, Fujitsu, Cash Converters, TAB, IMB, Citroen and Water Corporation.

“I am excited to take on a role within a full service agency – which is where I began my career,” said Sinha.

Horgan said he was pleased with Reid’s promotion to run the Melbourne office.

“We are delighted to see Margie’s career grow from strength to strength” he said.“OMD Melbourne have had a terrific year with new appointments to the Pacific Brands, Heinz and RACV accounts.

“Margie’s impact on the business has been enormous, and she embodies all the skills and capabilities necessary to lead the Melbourne office in its next chapter of success.”
