Media agency OMD Australia has appointed a new national head of digital from Aegis UK.
Stuart Bailey was formerly head of digital activation at the British agency, leading a 30-strong team.
The national head of digital role at OMD had not been filled since Paul Elliott moved up to the role of national head of digital, data and direct as part of a senior expansion in November last year.
Bailey has over 11 years of experience in the UK market.
Elliott said in a press release: “Stuart brings a great depth of knowledge and expertise. His proven track record in managing large digital teams, his digital trading credentials, and his experience across a diverse range of categories make him the perfect hire to continue driving the evolution of our Digital offering. Our clients and our people will benefit substantially from his significant digital experience, strategic know-how, and results driven approach.”
The news comes shortly after Tristan Bentall moved from the UK into the role of national head of direct, replacing Sabino Petruccelli, who moved to OMD UK.
