OMD chief digital officer Stuart Bailey moves across to PHD
PHD has appointed OMD chief digital officer Stuart Bailey in the same position.
Bailey has been with OMD since September 2012, when he joined as national head of digital before being promoted to chief digital officer in November 2014.
Prior to OMD he was head of digital trading and activation at Carat in London for almost five years.
Taking a national role, Bailey will be overseeing head of digital at PHD Sydney, Amelia Ward, and head of digital at PHD Melbourne, Schalk Van Der Sandt.
Mark Coad, PHD Australia CEO, said: “We’re extremely pleased to have Stuart join the PHD family. A proven performer, his collaborative nature coupled with his conviction to accountability in digital will help drive both creative and measurable outcomes for all our clients.”
Peter Horgan, CEO at Omnicom Media Group Australia and NZ, said the OMD team has benefited from Bailey’s experience.
“Stu has made an enormous contribution at OMD. The team have benefited from his significant digital experience, strategic know-how and results-driven approach. I’m so pleased we are able to offer opportunities for the ongoing growth of our senior executives across the broader group.”
Commenting on his new role, Bailey said: “I have obviously been lucky enough to work closely with many of the team at PHD over the past four years of being in the Omnicom family.
“The ingredients of a great client list, experienced and talented exec team, passionate people, truly world class global network and a great role and new challenge was too good to turn down. I am really excited to help build on the great foundations that PHD already has in digital and push the boundaries, not just internally but also for our clients.”
The appointment is effective January 1.
