One Green Bean CEO, Claire Salvetti, to step down at end of year
Havas-owned PR agency One Green Bean is on the hunt for a new CEO after Claire Salvetti announced she would be relocating to Barcelona with her family at the end of the year.
Salvetti joined One Green Bean as managing director in 2015 and took over as CEO last September after Carl Ratcliffe stepped down.
“My four years at OGB have been extremely rewarding and I’m really sad to leave, but this is the right decision for our family,” Salvetti said.
“There’s a first-class leadership team at OGB, a fantastic culture and new and long-standing clients that we’re doing great work for. I’m looking forward to continuing that for the next six months, and have every confidence that will continue after I leave.”
Salvetti will be moving to Spain with her partner, Nicole Taylor, who has been appointed CEO of DDB owned bespoke agency C14torce, based in Barcelona.
Anthony Freedman, chairman of Havas Group Australia and New Zealand, added: “Naturally Claire will join Nicole in Barcelona, but we are very pleased that she will remain in her current role in Australia until the end of the year.
“This gives us plenty of time to find an equally outstanding replacement, and we are also fortunate that the circumstances that have prompted her move allow her to play an active role in that process.
“Claire is an outstanding leader who has contributed enormously to OGB and the wider Havas Village over the past four years. When the time eventually comes we will be very sad to see her go, but wish both her, Nicole and her family all the best for their move.”
A huge loss, not just for OGB but for The Marketing Academy family, coachees and fans of Gruen. We’ll miss you Claire!
