One Small Step Collective launches media agency Super Nova, led by Emma Macey

Melbourne-based creative agency, One Small Step Collective (OSSC), has launched a new media agency, Super Nova, with Initiative’s Emma Macey at the helm.

Super Nova’s founding clients are alcohol delivery service, Tipple, and supplements brand Australian Natural Care.

Emma Macey has departed Initiative to head up new media venture Super Nova

Macey’s title is general manager of Super Nova, and in the role she will be working with the OSSC team to provide a full-service offering to clients.

Macey spent four years at Initiative as client director, and prior to that was an implementation, planning and investment director at Mediacom. She has also spent time at OMD and Ikon.

Macey said it’s hreat to have creative and media back in the same place.

“OSSC works really closely with its clients to bring change to their business and it’s fantastic to be able to complete the offering with media.”

She continued by outlining Super Nova’s point of difference.

“Clients are looking for a strong, complete team on their side. They want data-led decision making all the way through the process. But also, they want agility- business decisions are getting faster and they need a full team that can move at the speed of their customers,” Macey said.

“It’s just really exciting. We’re heading into 2020 with a lot of momentum and the conversations we are having with clients have reinforced that the data-led, integrated media offering is something they’re really interested in.”

Managing director of OSSC, John Williams, said: “Supernova is a complementary and crucial piece of our data led marketing solutions for clients. It just means more accountability for outcomes and it means our clients get one team moving them through from research and insights all the way through to creative and media planning and buying.”
