Ooh Media has promoted Krista Walton to head its agency sales function in New South Wales, succeeding Lanai Wiadrowski as she departs after more than a decade.
The announcement:
oOh!media has appointed Krista Walton to lead the agency sales team across New South Wales. Stepping up into the role after six years as group business director, Walton has played a pivotal role in shaping agency strategies and delivering measurable impact across the business.
With more than two decades of experience across Out of Home, publishing, and brand partnerships, Walton has deep industry insight and a proven track record of commercial success. Her experience has helped her forge strong relationships across the media landscape, positioning her as a trusted and influential leader.
Mark Fairhurst, chief revenue officer, oOh! said: “Krista is an exceptional leader whose impact is felt across every corner of our business. Her commitment to our customers, combined with her ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams, makes her the ideal person to lead our agency sales function in NSW. With deep expertise in Out of Home and a strategic mindset, Krista’s promotion is a testament to the calibre of talent we have at oOh!.”
Walton will officially step into the role in mid-September, succeeding Lanai Wiadrowski, who is departing after more than a decade to pursue new opportunities. She will report to Wade James, who returned to oOh! in July as group sales director.
In addition to her new responsibilities, Walton will co-lead oOh!’s Gender Equality DEI Committee, reinforcing her commitment to driving equity and inclusion across the industry.
Walton said: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into this role at a business and a sector I’m so deeply passionate about. It’s a real privilege to lead such a talented team and to build on the strong momentum we’ve achieved in the first half of the year. I’m deeply grateful to the people who have supported me along the way, including Lanai, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working closely for the past six years.”
This appointment comes as oOh! accelerates its network expansion across Sydney’s eastern suburbs with the rollout of Waverley and the Northern Beaches.
