Ooni Pizza Ovens launches in Australia with FleishmanHillard as PR partner

Ooni Pizza Ovens has appointed FleishmanHillard, part of TBWA locally, to its public relations account across Australia following a competitive pitch.

The announcement:

Ooni Pizza Ovens is the world’s number one pizza oven brand, with a range of multi-fuelled portable, outdoor ovens, highly regarded for its ability to reach a temperature of 500°C and cook incredible pizzas in 60 seconds.

Ooni is also the only brand to have one of its home pizza ovens, the Ooni Karu 16, approved by the True Neapolitan Pizza Association, a non-for-profit organisation in Italy that promotes and protects true Neapolitan pizza worldwide.

With a cult following, Ooni was created in 2012 by husband and wife duo Kristian Tapaninaho and Darina Garland and is loved across USA, UK and European markets. With ambassadors across the world, including Melbourne’s own pizzaiolo Antimo Verde (@antimopizzachef), Ooni wants to help everyone make great pizza, right from their backyard.

FleishmanHillard has been tasked with launching Ooni Pizza Ovens in Australia later this month. Its remit ongoing will include PR, earned creative, influencer marketing and brand partnerships.
