Open Colleges promotes School of Health by asking ‘What’s your Calling’?

Open Colleges has promoted its diploma of nursing by asking Perth and Adelaide residents, ‘What’s you Calling’?

Created by Open College’s in-house creative team, with media planning done by M&C Saatchi-owned Bohemia, the campaign consists of three spotlight videos which highlight why each student wants to study nursing.

Lisa enrolled into the degree so she could help others after her brother died from Ebola.

Nerilie joined the nursing degree so she could make a positive impact on others, while Nikki returned to studying after 20 years for a career change.

The campaign aims to focus on the reasons why people enter the healthcare sector which includes aged care and disability.

Alexis Watt, Open Colleges School of Health CEO, said in a statement: “In conversation with our students, we repeatedly discovered that they were attracted to these industries through either a personal experience or an intrinsic desire to care for others.

“With a myriad of powerful stories at our fingertips, we decided to pose the question – What’s your calling?”

The ads are set to run across digital and social media.

Chris Christofi, head of strategy at Bohemia, said: “This campaign reflects Open Colleges’ desire to do more than just sell courses but to inspire people to pursue their passions or as we like to think of it ‘find their awesome'”.
