Pacific Magazines extends Better Homes and Gardens into branded events

Pacific Magazines is planning to launch the first Better Homes and Gardens branded direct-to-consumer event.

The ‘Better Homes and Gardens Live’ three-day event is due to launch in Sydney in October, with plans to roll the format out into other states next year.

The home and lifestyle brand already has a TV and radio show. Its publisher, part of Seven Media Group, said it will now aim to extend the “integrated media brand” further.

The move will be the first time Better Homes and Gardens has launched a large-scale branded event, previously having held client and reader-only events.

It will feature 200 exhibitors and will include live demonstrations, workshops and appearances by celebrities from the Better Homes and Gardens TV show.

Meanwhile, Top Gear, the British car show which is broadcast on the Nine Network, recently held its Top Gear Live Sydney event attended by the show’s presenters. It is due to return next year.
