Packed To The Rafters and The X Factor maintain Seven’s Tuesday dominance

Packed To The Rafters and The X Factor lead the ratings charge for Seven and Tuesday night with the popular family drama receiving 1.571 million.   

The reveal of the top 12 acts in The X Factor won the 7:30 timeslot with 1.4 million, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.

Seven’s overall share for the night was way ahead of its rivals with 28.4%.

Nine’s top rating show was Nine News with 1.067 million, sixth most-watched for the night.

The Big Bang Theory was once again Nine’s highest ranking non-news/current affairs program with two of its three episodes ranking eighth and ninth with 927,000 and 876,000.

Top Gear Australia, again on at 9:30, slipped from 439,000 last week to 393,000.

On Ten an hour-long episode of The Renovators, where contestants are helping to rebuild flood-affected areas of Queensland, pulled in 719,000. The network’s best performing program was a repeat of NCIS with 848,000.

The ABC’s QI, a quiz show lead by Stephen Fry, received 720,000.
