Paper Moose delivers a Jim Beam tongue twister for Jimmy Brings

To celebrate the footy finals, Paper Moose is asking the question ‘how much Jim Beam could Jimmy Brings bring’ in a new tongue twister campaign to promote the alcohol delivery service.

Set in a suburban garage, the campaign uses a catchy earworm to cut through what Paper Moose says is the most crowded time of the year for alcohol advertising.

With more footy fans set to enjoy the finals from home this year, with campaign pushes Jimmy Brings’ ability to deliver the official spirit of the AFL – Jim Beam – to their homes in 30 minutes.

The campaign was created and produced in house by Paper Moose with executive creative director, Nick Hunter, saying it was an obvious choice to pair the two brands together for the ‘Jimmerick’.

“This was an exciting opportunity to work with two beloved brands. Their similar sounding names were perfect for a truly un-ignorable and hilarious earworm. With COVID restrictions dramatically reshaping the finals season experience, especially in its Melbourne heartland, we were happy we could help people celebrate footy at home in a fun way,” said Hunter.

Jamie Gagliardi, head of marketing for Jimmy Brings, said the concept was a no-brainer for the brand.

“As soon as we were presented with the ‘Jimmerick’ concept by Paper Moose, we knew we had our hands on a memorable and hopefully iconic idea. The campaign will be focused on targeting emerging markets for Jimmy Brings such as Melbourne and Adelaide, to position us as the ultimate drinks retailer this Finals season,” he said.

“Partnering with Jim Beam was the perfect alignment for this strategy, as they are the official spirit of the AFL.”.
