Patts creatives join MADC judging panel despite spat
The Melbourne Advertising & Design Club has announced its judging panel for the 2011 MADC Awards.
The line-up includes representatives from GPY&R Melbourne, which opted not to enter this year on what it said were cost grounds.
MADC accused Patts Melbourne of submitting a scam entry to the 2010 MADC Awards. The agency vehemently denies the allegation.
Patts’ Chris Northam, Katie Britton and Ant Simmons join a panel to be chaired by M&C Saatchi Sydney ECD Ben Welsh.
Patts Melbourne’s three staff on the panel is matched only in number by DDB Melbourne and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, which has more representatives – four – than any other agency.
Judging will take place from 9-11 September.
