PayPal Australia marketer Liz Lord promoted to Asia Pacific digital marketing role
The head of PayPal Australia Liz Lord has been promoted to lead the company’s marketing push across APAC after the departure of Miguel Bernas.
Bernas has moved on after just over a year and a half with the payments company, having led PayPal’s digital marketing for web, SEO, email, search, display and social media for Australia, Japan, North Asia and Southeast Asia.
He joined PayPal from Singtel, where he was director of digital marketing, in June last year after more than three years with the telco. His next move was unclear at the time of publishing.
A PayPal spokesperson told Mumrella Asia that Lord, the head of consumer marketing for PayPal Australia, Liz Lord, has taken over the role as director of digital marketing for PayPal APAC.
Lord has been in her previous role for four years, having joined PayPal from Virgin Mobile Australia, where she was manager of digital acquisition for e-commerce. She has also worked in customer acquisition for Orange and as a senior suit for direct marketing agency Rapp Collins.
