People sneak a microwavable cake break in Greens Baking campaign

Australians in schools, exercising and at work carry portable microwaves around their necks in Greens Baking’s latest ‘Sneak in a Cake Break’ campaign.

Created by Saatchi & Saatchi, one ad shows two dads carrying microwaves in baby carriers, as they heat up cakes while going for a walk.

Another 30 second spot shows a group of high school students “sneaking in a cake break” between class, while another shows an office employee carrying around her boss’ microwave.

The ad aims to show how it is possible to make a cake anywhere and at any time as long as there is a microwave available.

Simon Bagnasco, ECD at Saatchi & Saatchi, said in a statement: “I love baked goods. And I love microwaves. Finally, someone has brought these two wonderful things together. The world is a better place for it.”
