Perth radio ratings: ABC gains audience over commercial networks

The ABC picked up audience share at the expense of commercial radio in Perth’s first round of radio ratings for 2011.

Local station ABC saw its share go up from 9.7% to 12.3%, according to the Nielsen ratings. And the ABC’s Triple J went up from a 7.2% share to 9.4%.  

Classic hits station 6IX saw the biggest fall – down from 7% to 5.8%, followed by talkback station 6PR – down from 9.6% to 8.5%.

Mix 94.5 remains the biggest station.
