Perth Scorchers chooses Kojo Sport for creative account

Creative services business KOJO has recently won the creative account for the Perth Scorchers Twenty20 Cricket Team.

Perth Scorchers appoint KOJO Sport as brand creative, sports presentation and game day production partner

KOJO has added another win to its sports portfolio, with the appointment as Brand Creative, Sports Presentation and Game Day Production partner to the Perth Scorchers.

The win follows KOJO’s work as Cricket Australia’s in-stadium creative content partner for the 2016/17 KFC Big Bash League and 2016/17 Rebel Women’s Big Bash League last year. KOJO’s demonstrated success with Cricket Australia and their creative sports marketing experience were a key consideration in their appointment.

KOJO’s first brand campaign for the Perth Scorchers has recently been launched in the lead-up to the new season, focused on building state-wide support of the Perth Scorchers. Using iconic Western Australian landscape imagery and building on the successful #MADETOUGH personality, the campaign includes players from both Scorchers teams.

Shay Nasta, Perth Scorchers’ General Manager – Commercial, Marketing and Communications said, “With a new brand identity, we had an opportunity to reposition our brand creative and to align to it to the whole state, not just Perth. We engaged KOJO because they understand our brand and are leaders in delivering brand and event experiences for sports fans. We can’t wait to see the work roll out this season as we celebrate a historic summer at the WACA Ground and build towards matches at Perth Stadium.”
